OUT OF THE BLUE (2025)
An original production of vignettes telling real stories from the summers of Florida, Out of the Blue is an abstract look into grief, spirituality, and the light-hearted absurdity of living life as a Floridian. All of the characters were taken from journal articles in the Tampa Bay Times, and woven together with the help of a wind phone, a disconnected telephone booth meant to connect you to lost loved ones. All of the costumes were meant to evoke the original subject of each vingette, but also create a sense of nostalgia that helps the themes of memory tie together.
