Ava Greer is a Bachelor of Fine Arts candidate with an emphasis in costume design in the Department of Theatre and Film at the University of Mississippi. In addition to her design work, Ava also enjoys painting/dyeing, costume craft work, and stitching.  Her anticipated graduation date is Spring 2024. 
Recent design credits include Head Over Heels (in production), The Prom, Polaroid Stories, Into the Woods,  Romeo and Juliet, The Ashen Crown, and Urinetown.  She is also currently designing theoretical productions of the opera's Turn of the Screw and Parsifal.
Two of those productions have also won 1st place in the Southeastern Theatre Conference's Design Competition for Undergraduate Costume Design: Head Over Heels (2024), and Polaroid Stories (2023).
Ava's professional credits include Des Moines Metro Opera as a Costume Intern in 2022 and Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival as a Costume Craftsperson/Dresser in 2023. She will be working as a Wardrobe/Crafts Apprentice for the Santa Fe Opera in summer 2024.
